Short Sweep Trans Temp

Hi all,
Is there any downside to a short sweep trans temp gauge, vs. a full sweep (if they even make them)?
Thanks,
Jack

I've got the short sweep Dipricol trans temp and if I had to do it over again I would have gotten the full sweep. The full sweep will give you a more accurate reading because the short sweep goes from 100 to 140 to 180 and then 220 I think. The short sweep was cheaper at the time so that's what I got and it gets the job done.

I agree, my old banks gauges has a short sweep on it and my new depricols have the full sweep.

ISSPRO gauges have full sweep....but if it's only for your tranny, it's not that important to have the full. That is your slowest moving gauge you will have

If I were to do it again, I might get the full-sweep. But ONLY so it would match the others better. I don't really care if the tranny is 130 or 140. And it's easy to see if it gets over 200, so that's all you really need. I just like the idea of everything matching, call me OCD...
