The left front fender emblem is 1965, the right is 1966.

The outside mirrors are aftermarket, this type of low mount mirror was not offered by Ford until 1973.

Nice truck. Thanks Number Dummy. I just bought a 66 and it came with 4 fenders and was about to do my research as to which emblem is correct. You did it for me.

No. There was regular tu-tone and deluxe tu-tone. This is similar to regular tu-tone, except there would be no red on the doors or A-pillar.

So, the deluxe would've meant the lower half (below the trim) was painted red as well?
Never knew there were 2 versions offered

Yes. Also, regular tu-tone did not require the side molding, but the deluxe tu-tone did require it to hide the paint line.

The 4x4 truck in my avatar is regular tu-tone code JM with just the cab roof painted white. They didn't offer deluxe tu-tone for any 4x4 except 1966 F100.

Also no SS trim around the window rubber like you would see on a CC. Course, back than, you had the luxury of ordering a vehicle in the configuration you desired. Not like today. You could either add an option, or delete it. Ahhhh,,, the days when you could actually get what you wanted...

SO, what's the door tag say, AND do the #s match the frame? That would take away a lot of the guess work. At least some of it.

Still,,, a fun looking truck. Good luck with your new find.

After taking another close look at the truck, looks like you have the 65' grille.
