Flex fuel badge removal

Anyone know if the flex fuel badge on the 2017 6.2 trucks can be removed without leaving any holes in the tailgate?

Yep just rip it off and wipe it down! Mine didn't leave any sticker residue at all.

Heat the puppy with a hair dryer, it will soon fall off.

Give it a couple weeks, it will fall right off. Mine did. The King Ranch badges on my last truck were collecting water behind them so I just yanked them off too. Fords double sided tape is junk.

I didn't just rip mine off, I added a little blow dryer heat and used fishing line to remove the badge. A little more heat and "rolled" the adhesive off, a little "goof off" and wiped clean with micro fiber cloth. It just didn't look right when I put on the Tufskinz letters, so it had to go.

Peeled mine off the day I got it home, along with the dealers sticker.

Yep, me too. First order of business is de-badge on any vehicles I've bought. Once my SD arrives, I'm still torn on leaving the 6.7L Powerstroke on there. Thoughts? Sorry for the thread hijack OP.

Gotta leave the Powerstroke badge on, IMO.

I also removed my FX4 stickers. Mines a 6.2 so I didn't have door badges. At least they are subtle on these trucks and not the big circle badge like the earlier 6.7s.

Very true. The round badges were hideous IMO.
