Thanks for the chart and for resurrecting the thread.
My self-built braided stainless hose with JIC fittings has remained leak-free since it's original installation.
As I already said in an earlier post, when I initially installed the 6BT Cummins, I took the steering-gear fitting of the F-350 and the pump fitting of the Cummins to the local auto-parts store where I had done business for years.
They looked at what I had, said "no problem", and crimped a hose between the two mis-matched ends; it worked fine until the hose finally sprung a leak.
When I took the hybrid hose back to them to get a new section of hose crimped on, their response "you didn't get that done here" --- I most certainly did as the memory is welded into my mind.
They actually did me a favor, as my current setup is far better than anything I could have had made at a hose shop.
