Hi, I am having trouble installing new exhaust manifolds on 2006, ford f350 6.0 diesel. I have old ones out but I am having trouble finding a torque wrench that will fit so I can properly tighten exhaust manifold bolts to reinstall. All I can find is 11 inch in length wrench which is to big can anyone help? Do I have to get specific torque set for these bolts or can i do by hand with a smaller wrench?

Reason: Didn't explain
Not as important to torque as say intake bolts that have gaskets. Clean the threads on the bolts, lube em up with some kind of oil or preferably anti seize, start them all and cinch them down. They are an M8 bolt so 25-30 lbft is sufficient.
Ok thank you so much that really helps. I have one more question. I have been told to tighten to 8lbft but have also read to go to 27lbft. Are the people that are telling me 8lbft wrong? Thanks a ton

And as far as getting in there you can use an offset to move the
wrench head out of the way. The key to doing it so you don't have
to compensate for any added length is to keep the offset at 90º to
the torque wrench centerline.
