I am going to get off 75 before it turns into the turnpike, going thru the town I graduated high school from and do a quick visit with a friend and then cut over to I-4 and come into Orlando that way. No toll roads!!

Hey Folks,
I hope all is well been out of power most of the week. Truck wise we replaced the master cylinders, calipers, rotors hard brake line and hoses as well as wheel cylinders but still not getting much more then spongy response.
Where I live I guess IRMA took out 80 year old trees that snap power polls so been back in the stone ages most of the week. Just got power no internet last night.
Glad everyone is safe.
Quick question anyone got any recommendations for truck batteries? Are Optimas really worth the hype? Ole' Blue is a purpose build hauler not a daily driver so I want it to be reliable if I may not drive it every month.

BTW: Jacob, where are you again? I need to bring you some side work or send you some pictures and let you tell me what I should do with things in my truck.

I had a red top and it died pretty quickly. To me it's not worth the extra money. Buy a maintenance free and a battery tender like Hugh suggested and I think it will come out cheaper in the long run in my opinion.

Even with all the pre-planning I still feel like I am behind. Charged the batteries for the camcorder and installed batteries and memory card in camera. Now I am updating the maps on my Garmin. I was cleaning the pool from the storm but little man woke up so I am watching him for a while the wife sleeps in. I ordered this t-shirt for my little man the other day.

A little more than that but working towards that goal. Cleaned the pool of storm leaves and dirt off the bottom. Going to pick up some furniture for mom in law then Walmart and tractor supply run.
