Another CPS question
I have been burning up the search engine trying to find out if I have a bad CPS sensor.
When I start my truck the tach shows nothing no rpm shown at all till it starts. The other thing it does if the truck sits for more than a day it starts hard. It will fire up and die even if I hit the gas or fuel LOL. After that it cranks for a while and will finally fire up.
When it's warm it fires up but it does take at least seven cranks I would guess to fire up.
The ICP was replaced by the previous owner about three months ago and it is an OEM part.
Let me know what you think...

You can easily rule out the CPS by Back Probing the wire on the CPS and connecting the Multimeter to Ground. CPS is either open or closed.
The speed at which it opens and closes is relevant to the rotational spin on the Engine. Low batteries will also contribute to a low rotational value.
CMP: high = 12 vdc, low = 1.5 volts
