4r100 test port depth

4r100 test port depth

hei

instaling temp sender on 4r100 in the test port on driver side.

the sender is a bit longer than the bolt that was in there, will the sender hit someting in the transmission ?

Are you in Norway?

My sensor was longer than the factory threaded plug there as well, it installed just fine.

This is my factory threaded plug and my trans temp gauge sensor, works great!

Yes, a 4R100 behind the 6.8L V-10.

Are there many EXs running around in Norway?

yes there are a few . They where sold without tax in 2000-2002 as big trucks til the goverment shot that down in 2003.

there are none newer than 2002 that i now of 😉

Very nice, I really like the side marker/turn signal on the front fender below the Excursion badge. Many other countries require them but not here in the USA, it's a shame because they can help avoid a few side blind spot crashes.
