2002 P0781 code now with shifting problems?

2002 F250 with the 7.3 diesel. I'll try replacing the VSS since it's so cheap, but I have my doubts that will fix it because it looks like it reads fine on the FORScan feed. Could it be ABS module related? I'm not getting any ABS codes, but I did recently have mine replaced with a used but known good one.

I have attached the VSS pinpoint test from the Ford Service Manual for your reference. If I recall correctly, the VSS is no longer available through the Motorcraft brand, so you may be forced to purchase an aftermarket sensor if that turns out to be the issue.
Typically the ABS module will set a code if there is an issue with the ABS. What caused you to replace the ABS module? A similar issue or something entirely different?

Thanks for the test. I previously had the abs module replaced because the abs light was on and it was throwing an ABS code or two. I can look them up if you want, but the infi I found was that if the code I had appeared and another specific code was not present, then the issue was with the module. I took it to a mechanic for a diagnosis, and he found the same thing, replaced the module, and the codes went away.
