6.0l overheating

I have recently purchased a used 2007 f359 6.0l powerstroke
We tried to leave town with it for the first time and upon claiming the hill it began to overheat.
I see no white smoke
No coolant on or around the degas bottle
And it's not low on coolant either .. once the hill is peaked the coolant temp returns back to normal and doesn't move until another pull is made.
It is all stock except for the turbo back exhaust system but the dealer didn't know anything about the truck.
It goes back on Monday to see what the issue may be but this is a mom and pop car lot so I'm not too sure of what they will be able to diagnose or fix
If anyone can give me some ideas on what may be causing this and how to further drag I would greatly appreciate it.

Check to make sure the fan is plugged in its located left of the upper radiator hose should be a four wire plug. Have you had the codes read? Do you have a way to monitor the engine Maybe with a scan gauge or torque pro. If not you best find one its hard to diagnose these engines with out one. What is the fluid level the min line is the full mark.

I would check what the other members have stated starting with a pressure check that will answer a few and i may add that check the radiator is bad? I dont know if you will get a code for this. Is egr clogged ?
There is a oil cooler that coolant runs thought under turbo on top of motor. This was clogged on my truck. I did not over heat but was missing a little coolant and it was vaporizing though cap . Crazy right

After the above, consider a thermostat stuck open.

Slow to heat up, and then overheats are typical symptoms of a thermostat stuck open.
