Anyone know where I'd track down a few of these? Stopped by EGGE today and bought their last one..need 2-3 more.

p/n 7HA-6211-E, Rear Counter shows these people have them

 

I thought I read that McDonald was bought up by MidFifty? Maybe it was someone else?

 

They show to only have one bearing anyway. Rear Counter depends on vendors to update their inventory, until you call and confirm I wouldn't expect it to be true.

 

Out of all the vendors I called the only one with any remaining supply is the Dennis Carpenter New Old Stock department with maybe 8 left. Just as a heads up for anyone in my position.

 

Green Sales & Carpenter update their inventory, but most if not all of the other sellers on rearcounter do not.

I just looked at rearcounter & PartsVoice.com, Carpenter shows 12 of these 7HA-6211-E bearings, updated (on PartsVoice) 8/29/2017.

McDonald shows 1 on rearcounter.

AFAIK, McDonald is still in bizness. Ol' Dean McDonald has been advertising in Hemmings Motor News for decades, showed up on rearcounter several years ago.

I can see no reason why MidFifty would buy any of the NOS parts sellers, because then they would have a gazillion parts for trucks newer than 1956.

Plus, MidFifty is located in Kingman AZ while McDonald is located in Rockport IN .. Moving the parts from IN to AZ would be very expensive.

Several years ago, NOS Parts Ltd (Waxahachie TX) purchased NOS parts sellers Ed Bennett Ford Parts (Lebanon PA) & JST Automotive (Lebanon TN).

Recently, Wesley Obsolete Parts (TN) sold out to a guy who only sells on ebay. Parts International aka NOS Parts Warehouse (Farmers Branch TX) was purchased by Bob Allen Ford (Overland Park KS).

 

McDonald said they have zero in stock and Green also confirmed with a call back that they have no more in inventory.


Not sure if they're overlooking something but they confirmed the part number and the description before checking.


Carpenter had 12, prior to my order so expect to see that inventory change at next update.

 

Green didn't have any on 8/24, because if they had, woulda shown up on Ross' post #2 rearcounter listing. All I see is Carpenter & McDonald.

I only mentioned Green because they update their inventory daily on PartsVoice, rearcounter and the Ford dealer D2D (that the general public cannot access) where they are known as "Ford Parts."

 

Dennis Carpenter is now also 0, thanks to me.
