Talking RECOMMEND SHOCKS

I have a 2002 f350 super duty RWD. Its has a 5/7 drop(kit unknown). Im changing the front shocks and notice it has the Monroe(Part number 34684). I have 24 inch wheels on it and over the years it has started to bounce more and bottom out when hitting bumps. i would like to get a nice set of shocks. I heard of the bilstein and belltech shocks. Do anyone have a part number or the recommend extended length, collapses length and travel length of a recommend shock i should use. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I do not have any experience with drop kits and I haven't read of many on this forum that have done that other than you. I would recommend calling a couple of companies and see what they recommend. While you may not know what kit was installed you know that it's a 5/7 drop which is what their technical line can help you with picking the correct shock for you. Bilstein is a very popular choice, as is Rancho and others. There are only a few manufacturers for shock absorbers which are made to company specs and then slap their sticker on it and call it theirs. Bilstein is one of the few that is all in-house from R&D to production if that makes any difference.

check on line truck supply sites and determine the rancho shocks that fit your truck by year, make vehicle, drive details , etc.

once you determine the rancho shocks model numbers...look them up at the below link and that will give you compressed length, extended length, travel lenght.
