Electrical issue with interior devices.

I have a 2015 Superduty, CC, 4X4 PSD. All of the threads I have found on here concerning this are for older trucks. The dome light no longer comes on when opening the drivers door. Also, when parking and exiting the truck, the radio will stay on. I have to open the passenger door to get everything to shut off. I assume it would be a door switch but I have no idea how to locate and test. This truck has been in service since Oct of 2014 and has 40K on it so I am out of warranty, so hoping it's not some module that's going to require a 2nd mortgage to fix. Since there is no longer a visible pin switch, is it integrated in the latch somehow? Thanks in advance.

I understand the door switch is part of the door handle/lock assembly.

and the body computer controls the lights and radio.. reason the inside light and radio is ON.. till passenger door is opened.

Ok, so the truck works like it's supposed to with the passenger doors so I guess I can isolate it to the drivers door switch. Going to have to search some "how to" videos on how to get this door panel off without damage.

Ok, read somewhere on here to try spraying wd40 in the latch. Can anybody tell me what that little plastic arm is on the hinged side of the door, mounted right in the between the hinges?

You have a bad door switch.......Part is pretty cheap and the door paneling is easy to rip apart. It's just a small little spring loaded indicator deal.
