Make sure you don't just plug into the trailer wiring harness. The extra S/T/T lights will make the truck think there is a trailer holed up at all times.
I ran into that issue when I added extra lights to my truck. To prevent the problem, you will need an adapter. I bought mine from e-trailer and it took care of the problem.

Looks great, is it the magnum low profile? I ordered that exact one, lights and all, it will be here Tues.
Vtfireftr, thanks for the info good to know, if the same issue happens.
I'm curious to see how these look installed from farther back and the side. I really like the Magnum racks, trying to figure out how to get one installed on a Diamondback cover as I don't like the Diamondback headache racks. Also wondering if it affects the camera view from the top camera in the 3rd brake light.
Very Disappointed with low profile Magnum Rack, blocked the 3rd brake light and using the plugs supplied the SD thought a trailer was present, seriously confusing the dash electronics, yes, Magnum admits to compatibility issues, but after long conversations with them and per Magnum, they contacted Ford OEM there was no viable solution to the trailer lighting issues / confusion using the extended plug supplied by Magnum. I am in receipt of a alternate taller HeadAche rack without lights to see if the DOT 3rd brake light is preserved, more to follow. JB
