Newly acquired '32

Adding a few pics of My newly acquired '32. I bought it at an estate sale - anyone know what the typical market value for a rodded '32 might be?

I think I stole it, but I understand value is what someone's willing to pay...

I'd love to hear your thoughts! (Not possible to offend me)

I can't get over this pic, is it just me or is this sexy?

Should I try and grab this super charged flat head? (What would a reasonable offer be?)

Also curious if you think I should also acquire this flat head v8 - super charged with offenhausen heafs...

Nice truck! If it was me, I'd want the flathead in it.

The flathead would be sweet and you could peddle the SBC to recover some of the costs but that's without knowing what trans is behind the SBC. I'm guessing an automatic. If so you'd need a C-4 with an adapter or if I remember correctly you can get an adapter to bolt up an AOD to the flathead. Regardless its gonna cost some $$ to swap out the SBC. JMHO but I do like the truck regardless if you keep the SBC or install the flathead.

You have a nice pickup. I would rather have the flathead as long as it would fit under the stock hood. You have a lot of possibilities there; I wish that I was faced with these problems!

Believe he let it go for 5k Citing he had no info on it and doesn't know how long ago it was built. Feel like I missed a deal.

Yeah, just the blower setup, heads, chrome Fentons and aluminum flywheel would cost at least 4k new....

Nice looking pickup and love the blue. I just bought a 37 pickup with a sbc. I'm old school and like the sbc naturally aspirated. Never had a flatty but it looks kewl.

Love everything about it. The color is perfect, and it's a shame you couldn't get that flathead!

As others have said, you could have recouped the cost with moving that SBC.

There will always be more opportunities! Just gotta look for them.
