The flathead would be sweet and you could peddle the SBC to recover some of the costs but that's without knowing what trans is behind the SBC. I'm guessing an automatic. If so you'd need a C-4 with an adapter or if I remember correctly you can get an adapter to bolt up an AOD to the flathead. Regardless its gonna cost some $$ to swap out the SBC. JMHO but I do like the truck regardless if you keep the SBC or install the flathead.
You have a nice pickup. I would rather have the flathead as long as it would fit under the stock hood. You have a lot of possibilities there; I wish that I was faced with these problems!
Nice looking pickup and love the blue. I just bought a 37 pickup with a sbc. I'm old school and like the sbc naturally aspirated. Never had a flatty but it looks kewl.
