Hey there first post here I have been searching all over to see if you can remove the stator ring from the housing but cannot find anything on it I have two trucks that I am turning into one but the alternator housing waa shattered on the one that has an almost new stator ring and I want to use it am I SOL

 

The old alternators from the 1990s you could disassemble... The new ones are soldered together and you would have to do quite a bit of work to take parts from one and put in the other.
