Looking at a 2011 Mariner

Looking at 2011 Mariner 2.5 automatic with 48k on it. Are there any common all most guaranteed problems you need to be aware of.

Your 2011 will definitely have the A/C Receiver/drier dessicant bag vulnerability issue.

I did not list the driver's side inner CV joint shaft into transaxle issue, as I have not changed ours out (yet). It MAY have been solved by the 2011 model year, may want to search for that. The issue was the shaft finish was not smooth enough, and would eventually wear the transaxle's driver's side output bushing larger, then the seal would fail, ATF leak out, and croak the 6F35 auto trans.
Maculoco2000 has a video on this, on youtube. He also has one on changing out the A/C receiver/drier. His video was a big help on easily detaching part of the front bumper cover assembly to reach the A/C condenser output fitting, which needs to be accessed to replace the receiver/drier assembly.

my 2010 is now at 53,000 miles changed the ac receiver drier. No issue besides that. I think there a great suv.
