New chrome grill issues
I recently bought a new aftermarket grill for my 89 F350. At $55 it seemed too good to be true but I bit on it anyway. Got it in and it had a ton of over spray from the dark paint onto the chrome. It looked horrible. The folks over there at the ol' graveyard weren't too apologetic about it either. They told me I could get an oem one on eBay for 250. Just rubbed me the wrong way. Customer service fail. Anyway I used denatured alcohol and some elbow grease with a proper masking job and it cleaned right up. I guess lessons were learned. Don't deal with grave robbers and denatured alcohol won't hurt chromed plastic. Just thought y'all would like to hear about it. Could someone pass it on to jeff.

New a/m grille from rockauto is 30$, should you consider another replacement. Mine came perfect. I had to replace mine in an accident - I am now in the process of trying to source all NOS stuff to restore the truck.
