'00 grille question
My stock grille is looking a little shabby. I've noticed that it has little shiny specks on the gray inner parts, where pebbles and other foreign objects have hit it. This made me wonder if the whole grille is shiny underneath that gray paint. Has anyone ever acetoned their grille? I think a shiny, chrome-looking grille might be a cool mod, IF it would work. The longer I have my truck, the more I think more chrome is a good thing....

I'm almost 100% certain the chrome on the grill is applied over grey plastic. Like yours, mine was starting to "pit." Got mine for $90 including shipping. Should be here today or tomorrow. Will post some pictures after I get it on. Now I just need to get some stainless handle covers, chrome tow hooks, etc, etc.
