Steering column wiring harness for m/t - TIP

I've noticed that steering column wiring harnesses for manual trans are rarer to find new and cost considerable more than the automatic ones. Here's a tip. If you need one for a manual truck, just buy the automatic one. It's identical except it has one extra wire for the gear indicator light. You can just tape off the extra unneeded wire.

Good tip. Thanks!
Makes sense too.
