Researching the fiberglass/urethane work for the rear doors. I think I will do them as well.

It is. Owner is working on clearing his current inventory of 99-07 trucks (breaking them down...I am helping with that) and grabbing a bunch of 08+ trucks. Might turn into a platinum mine soon.

If you get good at the back door conversion, you can do a set for me Mike!

I can't stand those square, new-style mirrors. I like my elderly mirrors just fine Now, I might go for some of the '17 mirrors when they are more affordable. They look nice, and are smaller than those giant, square, elephant-ear mirrors from '08-'16.

I have decided to scrap the idea of putting rear door panels in. Wayyyyyy too much work in my book. Here are some photos of the 08+ rear door panels:

Now go look at your Excursion door. See that big speaker box and bulge in the door of your Excursion? Well, there is no speaker in the rear door of an F250/350. Now imagine trying to blend that box/bulge with the storage bin on the '08 panel...and then try to find 5 inches off the tail of your Excursion door to cut and plastic weld to that 08 door panel...

Really nice work, I've been thinking of doing this in my super duty. I scored a complete 09 interior including seats for $200 a while back.

$200 for everything is a smoking hot deal...must have been your brother-in-law Totally makes sense to do the back doors in a truck if you have all the panels.

Here is the "tweeter panel" everyone is always talking about:

This one was missing the tweeter...and one of the clips was broken off, but this is what you are looking for if you want that feature.

Yea it was too good of a deal to pass on. Not even sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I buy a lot of parts from this salvage yard and just happen to ask about the seats one day. When he gave me the price and said I could take all the interior panels too if I wanted I jumped at it. Even got all the seat belts and everything. Planning to go back and get the dash when I get a chance. He said $50 for that. I got the tweeter sails like you have pictured too.

Yep, but you need the little harness that runs from the door speaker up to the tweeter. It has a plugs on both ends, so easy peasy.

HI Mike,
thanks for the wiring break down on the power window wiring, you have no idea how much that helped out!!!
I am doing an interior swap on my 2003 F-350 7.3. dash, seats, everything that will change over, to an 08.
almost done.... I need to pick your brain a bit.... power windows are all working. just having some issues with the power door locks.. they seem to have quite working...
I have not made the cut over yet to the 08 switches yet. I cant seem to get the locks working on the original switches. they all worked before. any ideas??

I have check fuses all good
power is at the switches, but nothing happens when I lock or unlock the doors, nothing happens at all 4 doors.

thanks in advance for any input..

D Warren, I don't have the diagrams for the 02-05 Excursions. My diagrams are only for the 99-01 trucks/Excursions with the GEM module. Your truck does not have a GEM module, so the wiring is different. We do have other members here who might be able to help you with your newer wiring scheme.

It could be your master control switch there in the driver's door...borrow one to test with...or it could be in the electronics module that Ford switched everything over to...likely the instrument cluster.

Hi Mike ,

thanks for your reply, I was able to use the wiring cross over that you did post. It was close enough to get me going, I was able to figure out the rest.

the only thing I have left to figure out is the mirror wiring, the wire colors are not the same on that one.

I appreciate all your help!!!
