Still looking at winter here with a low of 30 last night with a high of about 45 today but they're calling for 70+ by the end of the week.

Some weekend fun for you guys to share in...the extrication and cleaning process...I'll have more "after" photos later today. It took us 3 hours to get it looking presentable. My pressure washer took a crap as well, so we had to do it all by hand. Yeah, notfun for the amount of CRUD that was on this engine. Ranchers man, they just don't care LOL!

Brought the camper home to work on the furnace. Pulled out and scavenged LP regulator and hose from a junk grill. Got it running on the work bench with the help of my Father in law. The gas valve was not opening consistently. only got tit to run once. He thought he had a furnace we could try parts from and it turned out to be the same model but a little older. Ran the other furnace on the bench for a while and cleaned it up. Reinstalled it and have heat again.

I want to add a tee for the gas at the furnace and a hose for my big buddy heater. Plan is to have a valve on the tee before the hose so I can turn it off when not needed. Need to find the coupler to use on the heater. They sell a hose with the regulator and coupler but I don't need the extra regulator.

Holy crap Byron... Looks like you pulled that thing back from the depths...

Trailer sale fell through this morning, so it is back on the chopping block. Have a couple coming by tonight though, and two more interested parties wanting to come by this week.

Spring is finally arriving here with highs in the 60's today and 70's for the following two days. My Jimmy goes in for rust repairs next week and when I get it back I can finish up my axle swap and get the hutch mod out of the way.

She did Wes! I had a good teacher on getting a 7.3 started after emptying the oil rails. She sounds GOOD too. My buddy is pretty happy. We are getting a blizzard-ish storm late tonight as well. Stay warm!!!

Amazon and my love-hate relationship with it.

Yesterday morning, my boss wanted to know why we were over-budget on some purchases from Amazon. Amazon has this nice feature where everything you ever ordered from them is logged. I went in there and found what I bought and compared that with the company accounting. I had proof Accounts Payable screwed up when they assigned the purchase to the wrong department - Amazon saved my ***.

Later in the day, I went online to get some dye for the new micarta knife handle I bought for my BK7. The purchase was below the $25 minimum order, so I bought season 6 of Major crimes... still 63 cents short. I perused my wish list and remembered I need to change the oil on the boat... so I went into my boat section. There's the pump that sucks the oil through the dipstick tube, and hey... there's that 12V freezer I wanted that transfers between the truck and boat. So... I end up draining almost $500 out of my account because I wanted my knife handle to be a different color. Amazon saved my ***... for itself... to dine on.

75 and sunny here today...

Woke up to a chocolate coffee thanks to my wife. Mowed the lawn and then had a fellow FTE'r over to look at the camper we have for sale. He is from the 2018 6.7 section of FTE and lives about an hour north of here. Nice chatting with him a bit and showing him around the camper.

That truck sure was fancy looking. He said his favorite part about it was the 7 camera system because it helps a lot since he lives in the city.

Looking forward to a lazy day tomorrow though, hope all are doing well.
