I used to have a 95 f250 gas guzzler. I'm not sure what was in it, but I once caught a crosswind going across Utah with my 5th wheel camper and had to pull off because I was getting just under 2mpg. Gas was $2 a gallon at the time, so it was 1$ per mile to drive in the wind. Sat at a rest area (with about 100 big rigs) until evening when the wind died down.
On another subject, this is the lower front bolt from my oil cooler. How screwed am I?

That was while you were in Germany?

She wanted a Blue car with a light color interior.

Audi Q3 S Line Quattro

The Corsair (Escape) had some beautiful color schemes and is a better looking vehicle, but the AWD tipped it for me.

I was stationed in England for 6 years and bought the Audi S4 directly from the factory in Germany at a discount and tax free. I had the opportunity to tour the factory and pick it up in Germany, but I could not get the leave time to do so. It was delivered to me in England where I drove it for the rest of my assignment and then shipped it back to the states. I was surprised at the prices they were charging for the same car I bought a couple years later after I was stationed in the states and shipped the car to Robins AFB near Macon GA. I took it to ATL to have it serviced and the same cars were easily $10,000 more than what I paid for mine. Again though, that was through a military only factory outlet and tax free. I don't think they offer those deals anymore as that was 15 years ago.

The Audi looks nice! It should be a good choice for you all.

You can tow (2) trailers here (in some states), but the first trailer has to be gooseneck or 5th wheel and there is a maximum length.

Or this.

I have never understood why anyone uses a 5th wheel tow buddy. Isn't the attaraction of 5th wheels/goosnecks the larger range of articulation before jacknifing? Additionally, the tow buddy now adds one extra degree of freedom to make backing up the trailer really fun.

Is that what that thing is called, a tow buddy? I thought the attractions to the fifth wheels are 1) Weight placed in front of rear axle and centered on the truck so the front axle got some weight too 2) and increased stability with the fifth wheel over a ball hitch.
