Dana 60 seals

I have gear oil coming out at driver front wheel, I need new seals. I went to parts store and they could only find one listed, I got it and it's the one that goes in the hub. Can someon help me with a part number for what a actually need, the one by the diff?

Did you ask for wheel seal or axle seal?

I found it, apparently it's made of gold since they want $50 for a seal. ��

If you have brand and part number I'd search around for one less expensive.

Yeah. I'm gonna take the old one to a bearing/seal shop local and see what they can do, from there I'll try rock auto

Yowza! That's some money there. We sell the one for the 44 axle tubes at a whopping 11 bucks each.

I'll see if my book gives the old number for the 60 at least. Then you can cross-reference to your heart's delight.
But if you're sourcing stuff through Rock Auto anyway, don't they list the seal straight up?
