Replacing stereo in 2003 Expy
So, I love my truck, too to bottom. Except one tiny little thing that bugs me... the previous owner put in this awful aftermarket stereo, and the damn thing glows bright red ALL the time. I can't stand it. Especially during the winter as I drive a lot in the dark.
So! Could anyone offer any advice on replacing it? How-it's, or a nice replacement. I can't find any originals in my area, Ive already checked all the junk yards.

If you want the original they're available on Ebay. I would upgrade to a full NAV system if it was me.

Look up online the make and model of the radio for an owner's manual. Nowadays the illumination is often done by LEDs and you're able to change the color that is used. Perhaps you can change it to a nice cool blue or green.

I found a pretty cool one online. No Nav system, but I wouldn't use it if I had one. Are there ways to connect aftermarket radios to your steering wheel?
