Steering Damper
Motorcraft steering damper for 4wd is 36 and change
Bilstein Steering damper for 4wd is 84 and change.....
What is the difference btw the two and is Bilstein a better buy?

My truck wasn't equipped with a damper, I did purchase the brackets through Ford and the Bilstein damper, definitely cleared some feedback in the steering wheel, looks shiny and matches the other Bilstien shocks I have.

Wow factor doesn't happen until you go to dual stabilizers that bolt directly to the drag bar ends with no links in between.

I had the OEM stabilizer for 45k miles, dual BDS for 30k, none for 20k, now a Bilstein for the last 20k. Couldn't really tell a difference in any of the above except the dual turned harder.
