Excellent, btw 100% straight water, only added 15% to DPF guage in 260 miles. Loving this snow performance kit. Going to add a second 7gal tank when hauling the camper. Steep climbs from vancouver to Kelowna, with 70-80mph speeds, emptied the tank before the drive was done. A buddy sent my stock intercooler to Kelowna for me, was waiting at greyhound for me when I got here. Along with the codes was poor fueling calibration trying to compensate and keep safe, it’s coming out. I’ll definitely pass on how the tuning works out.

I finally got a start on my FS2500 bypass filter. Yesterday was a rainy day so I assembled the filter housing fittings. Going through all the hardware which I did not do when I got it, I realized I was short a 1/4" tee fitting for the factory oil filter housing. I called the number on the installation booklet and got friendly service. The part was being sent out that day.

I was short one tee fitting, second down from the top.

The oil fill cap, fitting, mounting plate and hardware.

The fittings loosely fit together.

The housing completed. I used Teflon paste. Messy stuff but I like it.

Besides getting an extra sealed washer and new o ring with second filter, you also get an emergency set in case you have problems and the housing is leaking. You also receive fittings to cap off the pressure line in case you need to take it off due to a problem.

The oil cap with fitting installed ready to go.

The sampling fitting and hose.

This is the pressure hose because it's a little longer than the other hose. Since the filter mounts on the driver's side, it makes sense because the hose has to run across to the other side. Haven't figured out yet what that fitting is for.

The return hose.

I never posted a picture, or I can't remember, of the FS2500 mounted. But the spin on filter conversion kit arrived today at work. I have truck stuff mailed here when I don't want my financial manager err wife to know about it. It just came out recently so it will be easier to change and last 15k miles instead of the rated 10k miles canister. Before the FS2500 install, I changed the oil out at 33,396 miles. The bypass was installed about 200 miles later at 33,579 miles. I don't have the notebook here with me that has the mileage that I ran the first canister out to but it was 7k miles plus. Filtration Solutions wanted it changed out at 5k miles but I went out to when truck told me to change oil. I checked oil flow on return on oil fill cap and it was good until I changed the oil out.

This thing is a big *******.

About 7 inches high.

At least 4.5 inches in diameter.

The housing that bolts into the FS2500 head.

Machined aluminum, very nice.

The parts...

Very clear and color instructions.

So I will take pictures of the install when I do it and will post what the regular canister install looks like and how big they are. I will drain the FS2500 housing when I do the next oil change and run it until I change the oil again. It will run for about 14,500 miles give or take. I will check flow out of the return line to the head but I don't anticipate any problems with it clogging or not flowing. So it will be awhile until I post pics of these spin on kit.

EDIT:

I've been running the screw on filter kit now. Will post pics at next filter change.
