A/C question
2011 F250 SD, is there a common problem with the A/C not working? Truck I'm looking at buying, the a/c does not work, it only blows hot air. I know it could be any one of several things causing it not to work but some makes and models of vehicles have certain recurring problems with a/c. Was wondering if the SD does.

Was trying to decide if I should gamble on fixing it myself or have the dealer fix it. Decided to have them do it. Guess that's what it was, the evaporator. When I called the salesman said it would be a couple of days, they had the whole dash out. Good thing I negotiated a deal where they had to fix the A/C. Now I just have to insist on another road test before I accept the truck to make sure nothing else is wrong from them removing the dash.

Just had mine replaced 2 weeks ago to the tune of $2300 with a couple of other things. Yes it is an '11.
