Question Purchase/ordered 04 scab lariat

I've got a build date of 09/08/2003 delievery on 09/22/2003 for my 04 scab lariat 4x2 6.5 bed. I have x-plan pricing but the trade valve of my 2002 Dodge quad cab seems to be that I'll owe the dealer $5000.00 to take it off my hands because Dodge has no trade in value. Dealer will only offer me wholesale pricing because of the x-plan deal I'm getting and thier already loosing money due to the x-plan. I fnd it hard to believe a dealer would sell a truck at a loss? Can anyone tell me a good trade -in value of a 2002 Dodge quad cab, Pricing from nada. kelly's and edmunds are from low of 16k to a high of 19k. I would think 17.5k would be a fair trade -in. Any thoughts? Dodge is clean only 18k miles shinney paint 20 inch rims and tires spray on bed liner slt sb pwr al the way. All the dealer has to do is wash it and put it on the lot and hope it sells!

Run away from that dealer! They DO NOT lose money on the
x plan! Ford reimburses(sp) them up to what they paid for it and then some extra for their trouble (several hundred depending on price) Then dont forget about dealer holdback (3%MSRP), thats about $1200 for your truck. Sence the dealer ordered it, all of the holdback is pure profit! So thier making at least $1500 off the deal, if they said thier losing money you need to cancel your order and run because they definetly wont start treating you better.

Thumbs up Purchase/ordered 04 scab lariat

I just used the x plan to buy my 2004 FX4 , and i got a awesome deal, First I traded my 98 XLT blue booked at 9700, they gave me 10500, and the sticker price was 35300,the x plan shaved off 3664, and ford has a mfr's rebate for me of 574, so i was able to knock off 4250 apr off the price, not including the trade in, and i am very happy with the truck, i get a lot of stares from dodge boys, briefly, then they shy away, seems to me they don't much care for the f150 commercial where they spoof, that thing got a hemi? and then pull away from them, its got them scared
