Cargo Lamp

Does anyone have a source for a new cargo lamp for a 92-96 F150? These ones they sell all over the internet and online are way too long for the hole in the roof. Has anyone altered their roof to fit one of these long ones and if so do you have any photos?

I bought an LED Third brake light/cargo on EBAY and it fit perfect. It was for 92-96 f150 and plug and play. No issues and it works great.

Do you remember which one? I have one of those too, but the plastic lens is cracking and yellowed.

I keep all receipts but the one from EBAY does not show what company I got it from.. The three Leds on the sides are white and come on when door etc is activated. The middle LED's are REd and work when you brake. Very bright for others to see. Cost with shipping was $36.98 The shape of this one matches the factory shape good. I always run a clear bead of silicone around the top and sides of them. Saw where you guys got hammered today. Said it set a rainfall amount record in time. Hope yall are OK and Big Blue too.

Okay, that does look different from mine.

Yeah, we got schwacked hard with rain today, supposedly more on the way tomorrow. I welcome it, as long as I don't have to drive in it and get rear-ended again...

Good eye Sandy. I didn't notice that. You got yours for 10 dollars cheaper. I tend to order thru Amazon without checking Ebay. I do like the quick shipping with Amazon Prime.

What model year? (And no, "'92-'96" are not all the same....)

Edit - is it the 1993 in your sig? (Sig is the WRONG place for such info, since they're commonly turned off by readers.) If so, your 1993 truck has a cargo light. The '94-'97 trucks mentioned above have center stop lights with cargo lights. So you need to search specifically for 1992 or 1993.

He's right. Read some of the reviews and just about all of the negative ones are that it doesn't fit a '92.

Ok I do not understand. The cargo light on my truck is only 4" long and the hole in the back of the truck is only 3" long. The ones you guys are posting photos of is over 9" long and will not fit on my 93 ford f150. What gives?

See post #10 and #12.

The ones posted by Sandy and Glenn are Cargo/Brake light combos installed on trucks built in 1994 and up.

There's a misconception that all '92+ trucks had the same cargo/brake light combo; this is not the case.

There is also an issue with those combo lights being marketed for '92+ trucks, hence the suggestions posted by others who have '94+ trucks.

What you have is simply a cargo light, where as the ones the you are finding are considered a "third brake light"

If you just want LED, then your best bet might be to just get an LED bulb for your stock housing. Or convert your truck to a third brake light https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...a-93-f150.html
