Does anybody have a source for rear ends for 2002 f250 7.3l?! Mines making some noise. It's a 3.73 Ltd slip 10.5" sterling I believe.

Try these guys , it's a ways from you but strictly trucks.
Riverside truck parts and Salvage 209-869-3611

Jim , it could be a easy fix , check the relay switch , my old ford truck did this and it was the 3.00 part, I ended up by passing it with a paper clip.

Well my weekend went by way to quick. Spent one day out a Folsom lake with girl and dogs, spent the other working on the Taurus. Got the motor timed, swapped the old water pump for new, however the camshaft sproket bolt for the right hand exhaust cam is stuck on. After trying to get it off with an air hammer and brute strength I gave up, pulled the cam, out and will be taking it to a machine shop for them to figure out. Guess another week of driving the Green Demon around.

Hope everybody is enjoying their week.

greetings folks. still foggy and cool here.... we're on the verge of getting a fire going in the woodstove the past few nights.
no eclipse here as the fog and smoke was way to thick.
had a good trip down to pismo. stopped in guernville for korbel champagne (50%-off for militree') and stayed the night at the boone motel and spa. nice place. had my first massage! it was great. put about 1000 miles on my truck that weekend.

low-key weekend for us. yard work, house clean, errands, haircut.
take care out there.

A good week. Changed my oil, installed hutch and harpoon mod and installed a fuel filter between tank and lift pump. Next on the list is ps fluid flush. Looking forward to a less whiney brake and steering. Then trans flush, John Wood vb, and 6.0l cooler.

sounds like some good work! someday i'll do my steering pump.. i just listen for tone change in the whining to signify a pump change.

Got that right, Jim. Gonna be extra toasty today, so carry some water if you're out and about. I need to take the F-150 in for service today. Will also get my ears lowered. Then I will come home & whine about the heat.

Not going anywhere, Section 8 is coming by sometime today for an inspection, so I am indoors on the computers all day.
