I use Kilz for the primer.

I will have to try that sometime..

Only used it in areas that were white so never needed painting

We put PVC latice under the porch to keep Macy from going under it last year, The paint adhered well.

I also painted the composite skirting on the porch and that took the paint excellent too.

Maybe it is the Kiltz primer that makes it possible

Kilz is like glue anyway. Scuffing the PVC helps too.

$21. gal. for the premium at Lowe's. I don't think that is too bad. If you're going to take the time to paint its good insurance that your paint will hold.

Good finish paint runs upwards of $36. so to make that better Kilz is the primer to use.
