Your best bet is a mom and pop lumber yard if you have any there..

You can get them from the big stores but will have to order them

Mine are 8" Western Red Cedar, big box stores don't carry it but a mom and pop lumber yard that has been here since the Ark was built still carries it. LOL

I still really like the look of wood siding once it has dent paint on it. Last time I bought a bunch but must have used it up as I can't find it around. I need about two feet of it. It is the 6 inch variety!

Yeah that's for sure.. Years ago my MIL was having a porch redone and the guy was going to put up masonite siding.. That stuff is crap and would not match the wide cedar clapboards..

He told her he couldn't find the correct stuff.. I called the local yard and they had plenty

When I built our back porch / sun room I used the same siding as the house. Don't know how many have asked me if the room has always been here.

Yeah cedar lasts for years if you take care of it..

That is what I hate about vinyl.. If you do any renovations it will never match unless you redo the whole house.. Then you wasted more than if you painted every 10 years...LOL
