I did buy a 1988 Lincoln Town Car as the family hauler.. Still had pick ups for plowing though

When we bought the Edge, Patty was shown a Lincoln MKX but she didn't like the Zepher grill even though they are the same car.

That is a for sure Ford extended the warranty for the electrical on the Edge and MKX.

That tells me something will go wrong.

We did buy the extended for it. So far nothing has gone wrong.

It eventually will.. I think Fords electronics suck..

The FICM module on my truck is a problem and it is usually caused by bad solder joints not bad components..

My 88 Lincoln had a digital dash and after around 6 years the screen would go out and i would have to bang on the dash

The Edge has 60K on the clock. Only thing that went wrong was the charcoal canister for the emissions. We only had it a week but emissions warranty bought it.
