America, @$!# Yeah

I thought I would share some pictures of the project I completed on my Bullnose this weekend. Check it out!

I used heavy duty 16" zip ties to secure the 4x4 mount to the bed liner. I drove 5 miles from my home at 45mph and the zip ties broke. Thankfully, the flags and mount didn't fly out the back of my truck. I ordered some steel zip ties that will hopefully work better.

I also used plastic swivels to mount the flags to the pole. While they worked, I think I might go to steel zip ties to reduce the chances of breakage.

Definitely not for driving on the highway but you can be sure I will be sporting these flags and others I have when I cruise town and go to the car show.

Thanks. I bought it from the 2nd owner. He purchased it from the original owners son. Technically, I guess I'm the 4th owner.

I did change my flag poles a bit. I went to metal hardware:

I keep it at 45 / 50 mph and it does great!
