snap plier source for 4x4 hub 2010 f-450
so I am pulling hubs today. everything is off. tried 2 different snap ring plier kits and none reach the snap ring. anyone have a source for one that works. im on my way to pepboys to buy the leslie long pliers to see if the fit.. seems like the interchangable ones are too stubby to get in there and just dont reach.
check back later

As a Ford dealer tech, who's had to remove and install more than his fair share of that exact snap ring, I can tell you first hand the Knipex 9" snap ring plier as illustrated in the link above is the best one I've ever used. I've used my Snap-On ones that the tips have bent, and then I tried the exact one in the link above under a fellow co-worker's recommendation. He was right! I still have that plier with the tips still straight after many uses.
EDIT: SnowPlowDriver beat me to the punch! There you go. Two guys so far telling you the same thing. That should make it pretty unanimous.
