So my truck has been in transit since 8/4 and tonight I had a live chat with Ford who tells me the truck is at the ramp and not shipped and that I should call my dealer to get it expediated, what the hell does that mean and how long does it take to get from Kentucky to NJ by rail two to three days?

Apparently there is an order to ship mine from New Orleans somewhere.... no clue how it's getting to New Orleans. Maybe mines sitting there with no orders to get it to New Orleans?? Sounds like "in transit" can mean a lot of things.

Well I just checked with Ford chat and my truck is still in transit, and my ETA was bumped to 8/23 from 8/19. Guess I may bother the salesman again to see if he has any more specific information. I've only asked him for an update once, so I figure i can't be annoying to him yet..

For the amount of money we are spending on these things there should be a automatic customer update process. What a clumsy "system." At least some dealers are apparently giving their buyers weekly progress reports. That should be the minimum standard. It's pretty sad when we have to apologize for requesting info. Yup, I'm now officially getting impatient.

I ordered mine May 31st, its scheduled to be built today so fingers crossed. ETA for delivery is Sept. 5th.

Just got a text from my dealer that my truck was delivered today! 
He sent me a photo and advised service would prep it tomorrow and I could pick it up after that! The palsapp.com still shows my truck in Louisville with a pending status. So much for the accuracy of that! He sent a pic just after unloading from the truck.
