Well I'm impressed with my truck, one problem though, I thought I had ordered the tailgate step. I have no tailgate step. I'm wondering if it can be added?
I think you will need to get a whole new tailgate.
Pushed out again, Ford is now stating they're no rail cars available to move trucks out of Kentucky!
That really sucks... I read a recent news story where some regulatory board was telling CSX to get their act together because their service had really tanked since a new CEO took over. I'm guessing CSX delivers to your state.

did you get the inflatable rear seat belts? they are holding them if you did and I just checked dealer orders in my area Pittsburgh and they have 20+ all built 9/7 and 9/8 maybe enough to fill a train car to ship
My truck arrived off the barge yesterday. However, the dealership informed me it suffered some "transport damage" so it's in their reconditioning shop. I'm hoping that means just scratches that can be easily fixed.
I'm going to go over the whole vehicle with a fine-tooth comb when I pick it up next week.
Well I found out the transport damage was a scratched fender and a "gouge" in the front bumper. So the truck just got sent to a repair shop. The fender is going to be repainted, and the bumper is being replaced. I'll be paying extra attention to the parts in question when I take delivery... whenever that happens.
Makes you wonder how careless port workers are when they unload these brand new vehicles from the railcars. Apparently they don't really give a damn here, because the dealership said this is pretty commonplace.
The fleet manager was telling stories from a few years back where he kept getting multiple Super Duties with their roofs caved in. Not sure how that happens.
Congratulations! What an adventure. I think you are last guy standing. Knock, knock.... anybody left? I just had my Snugtop cap put on a few days ago along with AMP running boards. What a great truck. I will put up pics when the new wheels go on. Only thing I don't like so far is the huge front air dam. I can see that thing trying to act like a snow plow on some of the BLM roads I take...I see a trimming in its future. Either I do it, or the washouts will.
My truck just came in Monday, fly out Saturday to pick it up and drive home. Window tint and a leveling kit will be priority. Already have some Husky floor liners for it. Im actually looking forward to the 1100 mile trip home.
She arrived, just wondering if I was the last to leave the party?
Oh man....didn't anyone tell you? We already ordered and received our 2018 Super Dutys!! JK
Congrats on nice truck. Waiting sucks but worth it in the end.
Well I found out that I also did not receive the FX4 package along with the tail gate step.
The dealer has informed me that it was his mistake on the tailgate step but he's not sure about the FX4 package, maybe a factory mistake? He has informed me that he will be swapping out my tailgate for a step fitted tailgate, he has ordered the skid plates for my truck. I've seen that one of our members has installed the Hill descent switch and programmed via Forscan. The dealer tells me that since I do have the camper prep package that I should have the HD suspension. I definitely don't have the Rancho's. I had considered purchasing Bilsteins for the truck anyway.
Couple of minor bumps in my order but I think I will wind up on top.
Loving the truck.
