Ford Order Tracking

Where are you folks finding where to track an order?

I have a VIN, provided by my dealer on a printout. It says the scheduled build date is the week of August 14. I think about two weeks after that, I should have my vehicle.

The printout says in the primary section, "In Order processing". The secondary lists the build date of "Scheduled to week (Week of Aug-14-2017).

I look at this site, Ford Custom Order Tracking | ordertracking.ford.com, and all I see is a message "A matching vehicle could not be determined. Please contact your dealer to get status updated about your order."

VIN = 1FT8W3BT5HEE57153

You are looking on COTUS...for F350, you have to go to ETIS: https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

When did you order yours? Ordered mine 7/13...I have a VIN, but no ETA yet...almost same truck, except mine is short bed

I ordered mine on 7/17 and it was submitted to Ford in Thursday, 7/20. How do I decipher the build date?

Build Date: 30.11.0002
Vehicle Line: F-Series Super Duty
Engine: 6.7L 4V V8 T/C Diesel
Transmission: 6 Speed Auto Trans (6R140)

That's exactly what mine says. According to those who have been down this road, that date is meaningless, and is just a placeholder. Next step I'm pretty sure is when a Window Sticker is generated, and then that date will move to a scheduled build date (still subject to change)...someone correct me if I'm wrong here. Sounds like we might be in the same batch. I did a chat with Ford today, and they said estimated delivery date to dealership is 9/7/17, but subject to change, etc...I don't put any faith in that. I think thats just when it went in their system+ 8 weeks, or whatever they use...

Senator: My F250 order went in 7/18

On ETIS I have the same Build Date: 30.11.0002

I think this is some kind of code that means there is no build date yet??? Like me you have a VIN.......... but there is no Build Date until it is put in schedule for production.

FYI....... In COTUS mine does show an estimated delivery = 9/17
I'm sure that is subject to change depending on build schedule, etc.

Is yours a 250 or 350? I read somewhere that 350's won't show up in COTUS

That build date is meaningless, it's just a form filler until something happens. Jump on the blue oval forum in the super duty section and ask the guys there. Pioneer helped me with dates. Ford Chat and Ford Service on Facebook will give you info as well.
ETIS won't give you any info until after the build from what I can remember.
Get your info on the spread sheet so that you can gauge your times/dates against factual times from previous orders that have been filled. Sometimes you can see patterns of what is being built. Or at least I think I've seen one for my build and build week.

Sorry .... should have included..... mine is F250.

I thought not having COTUS access the 350s would appreciate the estimated delivery from COTUS of 9/17
