Retail Orders: Check In Here
While all the stock boys are getting delivery dates, I thought it would be nice for the retail orders to keep each other posted.
Truck info:
XLT 6.2 gasser
I just got a VIN on 8-13, and have a build week of September 5th. No information on a delivery date, and my salesman isn't willing to take any bets. He's a pretty straight shooter, and refuses to get my hopes up on a delivery window. Like he says- when it hits our lot, I'll call that it was delivered
Ford chat people can also see VIN and know the order is in processing. Outside of that, I'm sitting and waiting and hoping for delivery before November 4 hunting trip to Colorado.

Placed order on April 18. Originally was dealer stock but never scheduled even 2 months after scheduling began. The dealer at that point changed to retail based on conversation with ford rep. it is scheduled for week of August 29

Signature truck, ordered this week...entered the order bank 8/12. No VIN, or estimated window yet. I spoke to the Ford chat people yesterday, they can see it in the system. Cotus shows a different truck (dealer used the same order number...meh)...they said 8-12 weeks.

My dealer has been checking off and on for my VIN (Retail, F250, Diesel, Platinum, Crew placed on 7/11) and nothing has showed up yet so I wanted to reach out to Ford directly.

I ordered a F450 Lariat on May 25th and still no VIN. In processing is all I know at this point.

What is the Ford Chat I keep seeing people referring to? I tried to track down a live chat (versus calling) Ford but the only one I can find is for Sync Support.

Generally the new build orders are issued on Thursdays. There may be exceptions to this but your dealer should know that Thursday is when the blue oval shxxs.
