That is exactly why I asked are you sure there were no other issues. Either part of 7D411 or 7D418.

It never did this before I dropped the pan. Never even an indication that something like this was wrong.

It was the shift linkage. Works fine now. Got the new speedometer cable in as well. Thanks once again for all the guidance and knowledge!
