All was normal ont he way home after I reset the clock. Decided to get a video for proof for when it goes to the dealer. Anyone else had this happen? I hate to blame Gremlins because I'm an AMC guy and Gremlins are cool!

Looks like a bad digitizer in the screen. Easy enough replacement under warranty.

When it goes in for an oil change they can look at this and the trim over the tailgate step that doesn't sit flush.

Could be calibration got off, so the bezel was actually causing a "touch'.. thankfully probably not the computer.. just the screen will need replaced..

Looks like it's totally door-knobbed, probably needs a new head unit.

There's a couple of teenager's in China sitting behind a computer laughing their butts off after having figured out how to hack into your Sync system.

Exclamation

I had a somewhat similar experience a couple of weeks ago, literally right after I had commented to my wife how impressed I was with truck's zero-problem status...

I left to run an errand and the tailgate camera view wouldn't turn off except for when traveling at over ~6 mph (yes, I was driving forward). When I slowed down to under ~6mph, the tailgate camera view came back on. Otherwise, the center display was on but blank. Turning the engine off and back on did not reset the system or fix the problem.

I got home and told my wife about the bad juju. Then I had an idea: I turned my cell phone's Bluetooth off, went back out to the truck, and started the engine... the center display functionality returned to normal.

I've since turned the iPhone's BT back on, but the problem has not returned.

Weird...

Best of luck!
