Long time no talk guys! Well, Monday my 84 F250 is off to the body shop and I'm adding those good ol' amber lights across the roof of my truck! I ordered OEM cab lights for my roof and want to know right where they should be. If anyone has the placement dimensions available that would be a massive help! I want it to have a nice factor look. Thanks so much for all the help always. -Jon in Daytona Beach
5 lights. find center line, now measure balance from CL to edge (rain gutter) get that value, and divide by five.
That total, is now five equal parts.
Now from center light, take the value (from dividing by 5) and multiply times 2, that value, this is placement of a light to the right of center light and left of center light.
Now again from that light measure TWO times the value again, this is placement of the last light, (R and L) if done correctly, you will end up with 1 times the value to the rain gutter.
@ 4" in from the trim and follow the arch of the trim
