Gasoline engines have don't need an "exhaust brake" as they naturally offer excellent engine braking because of the butterfly in the throttle body. With the tow/haul mode engaged (torque converter locked, automatic downshifts to hold speed) the engine braking with a gasoline engine is outstanding.
