Factory alarm interface

I have an old alarm setup I made for my previous truck for monitoring our ATV’s and trailer that I would like to adapt to my new F250. It was basically a relay wired into the door switch and used a long piece of CATV cable that was looped through everything and each end of the cable plugged into the unit inside the truck. The continuity of the loop of CATV cable kept a relay closed. If the cable was removed or cut the relay would release and complete a ground circuit which would simulate an open door and set off the factory truck alarm giving warning.

Does anyone know any triggers or inputs I could use on the factory alarm to reuse this interface? It’s simple and effective so I would like to reuse it if possible.

Thanks,
Scott

I need to do the same thing except I want to add a pin or mag switch in my tool box.
I found that there is a hood monitor switch on Lariat and above trucks. I suspect we just need to figure out if it is NO or NC and wire accordingly.
I wont have time to play with it for a few weeks, but if you do- please let us know how it goes.
