The current owner told me he bought it as it sits and I don't have a reason not to believe him. I assume what happen is someone in the past swapped because it was what they had on hand. I can't wait to check the VIN to find out for sure what it came with.

I cut my seller off at the knees... negotiations were kinda harsh but I could tell he was desperate and I wasn't leaving without my truck.
I still feel a little bit bad about that... but not too much
WTF is it with Ford guys painting their valve covers weird colors? Mine are tan w traces of FoMoCo blue showing thru...

He was asking $1,000 at first but now has it listed a $1,500. I was thinking $1,000 was a fair price based on the photos I have seen I know there are rust issues I will be fixing but at the price I can deal with that.
Talking with this guy he has had a few people interested but no one has handed over cash so I'm thinking the original $1,000 is a fair price. I have been watching the market for trucks for about a year I know they don't go up in prices like that.
Plus he told me he is getting married and buying a house so sounds like he wants cash more then the truck.

Ok checked it out and the rust is worse then I thought. I think I can fix it but just a lot to do I think.
Going to check and make sure the patch panels are available then will make a offer based on that.
