Hi, I bought a radiator some time ago. I attempted to fit it today.
With the new radiator the original OEM hose is about two inches too short for the new radiator.
Have any of you had the same issue, did you buy a different bottom hose, if so what was the part number or any other ideas? Thanks,

When I've bought radiator hoses at either O'Reilly or AutoZone, they were too long and had to be trimmed. Sorry to be of no help
Thanks guys for your posts. much appreciated. I'm stuck here in Australia and getting parts is a pain, no where near as good as US and expensive. I have heard the name Gates bounced around. Hopefully its the same company. I will look to see if I can get the 8076. I think it would be a better solution all round. Than fitting an extender of some sort?
Thanks! I would never have known about the possibilities of different lengths.

What year/series is the truck, what size is the engine, with or without A/C?
BGF100. I am sorry for stealing your thread but I have the same question and I
know exactly what you mean with low availability and high prices!!!!
Have been looking at LMC, NPD and Mac's for a Lower Radiator Hose today but I think it's difficult. Some Sellers list 4x4 -77 should have a 4" wide radiator. My radiator tank is 2 3/4 wide (70mm). Truck is F150 4x4 -77 (400+C6) No A/C. Can you help me out here once again ND?
When i got a new aluminum radiator for my truck, one of the hose diameter connections changed, so every time I tried to buy one with my OEM truck make and model info i got the wrong hose, do yourself a favor and measure everything twice....
I got one for my 351m a couple of years ago from rock auto . Take an overall measurement of the hose. When you go into rock auto hit the info button , you will find one the right length.
Hi, thanks. Couldnt get the 8076 or anything longer in Australia.
I went to the local exhaust center and they cut me a piece of 2" tube about 6" long. They flared the ends for me too and they never charged. So that was a big help.
I have put it on and tested it briefly and it seemed ok. I will have to keep my eye on it to see how it goes during a drive? (Hope I don't jinx myself).
Thanks,
