anyone recommend another reliable brand other than motorcraft for coils? Not trying to be cheap but at about 55.00 per coil I'd like to try and find something else that's not junk. Replacing all 10

I understand that motorcraft would be the right way but damn expensive! I have a lot to do to the truck so anywhere I can save money would help!
Why are you replacing all 10 COPs? Typically they live very long lives and only need to be replaced individually when one proves to go bad.
Denso is the OEM manufacturer of the COPs for Ford, their part # 673-6000 is the EXACT same COP as the Motorcraft ones, if you peel the Denso sticker off the top the MC part # is right there. RockAuto should have them for $23-ish per.
Same thing with the plug boots and springs, Denso 671-0001 will give you an OEM set of 10.
And of course for plugs you will want 10 Motorcraft SP-479 plugs.
Most of us apply more torque to the new plugs than Ford calls for, the earlier design at 11 Ft/Lbs and the later 14 Ft/Lbs is pretty light.

thank you so much! I'll check it out and maybe you are right about buying all ten coils I'll just have to find out which one is bad.
Unplug one at a time, the one that doesn't affect the idle is bad.
im dreading it haha those ones in the back aren't going to be fun seeing is how I'm pretty much going to have to use a ladder to get the front ones and Lay on the motor to get the back ones ha. Only bad thing about a lift is getting up in the engine bay
I was recently having some intermittent sputtering issues. Replaced all plugs and boots, with the parts recommended above by WE3ZS. Found one coil that had some obvious issues and replaced that with the Denso. No more sputtering now.
