In stock form they are light duty, verging on delicate.......at least for truck use.

Not a bit. I changed the carb, and had to reset the TV rod, but information here got me through the adjustments.
I haven't towed with it, but I normally haul appliances to the scrap yard, anywhere from 500-1000 lbs.
