Maxed out guages

Maxed out guages
Howdy all!
On my 73 SCS, the fuel, oil pressure, and temp guage all slowly climb and peg out to the right. Every once in awhile they will operate normaly.
Thoughts on what this is?

Sometimes, when this puppy begins to fail, the gauge needles do the "hula" .. swing rapidly back/forth on their own.
Sometimes, the needles climb, then slowly come back down. But when the puppy fails, no gauges at all, they're as dead as Julius Caesar.
